About us
The Jazz Club Playhouse Gothenburg is West Sweden's largest organizer of international quality jazz.
Every year we manage to engage the most renowned artists, among other things through collaboration with other major jazz clubs in Sweden such as Fasching Stockholm
Here are examples of some that have brightened up life over the past three years:
From US: Bill Evans, Billy Cobham Chad Wackerman, Fred Wesley, Headhunters, Jeff Lorber, Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio, Oz Noy m.fl.
From Europ: Dominic Miller , Forq, Mezzoforte,Ida Nielsen & the Funkbots, Soft Machine m.fl.

In addition to the jazz club, the association or its partners conduct co-organizations with several other actors, including single concerts and more long-term collaborations on a project basis such as fairs, festivals and the like. Our main stage is currently Valand, centrally located on the main street Avenyn.
About the Association
The jazz association Playhouse Gothenburg is a non-profit membership association. In addition to jazz clubs,also runs events as a series of joint arrangements with several other actors with touches on the musical field, from single concerts to more long-term collaborations on a project basis such as various fairs, festivals and similar.

As a member of the Jazz Association Playhouse Gothenburg , you get advance information and thereby priority at concerts that we know will be sold out, as well as support for one of Europe's best jazz clubs and Gothenburg's foremost stage performances for live music, and can make your voice heard and influence the activities at our member meetings.
